Northern Portugal has something mystical that will surprise you. Since friendly people to traditional streets and unmistakable flavors a certainty we have: you do not meet Portugal's soul if not visit the North. We suggest, however, to start the trip in the centre of the country, more properly in Fatima, our religious. Here you will find peace of mind and an aura of mystery that will strengthen your faith. Now it’s time to visit Porto, a city located on the banks of the River Douro, filled with flowery balconies and with a special charm. The trip wouldn't be complete without a stroll by the River Douro which culminates in a delicious wine tasting. It follows the monumental character of one of the youngest cities of Europe: Braga. With a history of more than 2000 years Braga has the oldest Cathedral in the country and continues to be, at present, one of the most important religious centers of Portugal. But don't think that is a city that stopped in time: it has one of the youngest populations in Europe and is in constant development. Here you can enjoy the historic houses, the many churches and some contemporary marks. This passage from the North of Portugal could not fail to include a visit to the Peneda-Gerês National Park, the only protected area classified as UNESCO biodiversity Reserve. Their shades of green hide magnificent waterfalls and animals running at large, and can sometimes observe the Iberian wolf. Its beauty is inexplicable! Come prove yourself. You will have time to visit Guimarães, birthplace of Portugal, classified by UNESCO as world heritage site. Past stately homes, graceful balconies and arches that link narrow streets, feel the plunge in history! At the end of your journey take the best home: North's memory.

Boat trip in Aveiro

Anyone visiting the city of Aveiro will only truly know their genuineness by navigating the canals of the city in Moliceiro (regional type of boat). This type of transportation was once used in the harvesting of seaweed, an aquatic plant used in agriculture. Nowadays moliceiros carry tourists wishing to view the sui generis form of the built heritage of Aveiro from another perspective. The calm water of the channels allows your tour to happen in a very comfortable and exciting way.
