Day 2:

In Belém you will visit the Jerónimos Monastery - this historical and beautiful monastery is one of the most astounding and breathtaking visions you’ll experience in Lisbon, and absolutely worthy of your visit, as well as the Belém Tower, the old military naval tower that was once located in the middle of the river.
Visiting Alfama is to visit the architecture, the sounds and the smells of old Lisbon. This is one of the most typical quarters in Lisbon. On its narrow and winding streets you will find the hidden treasure of Alfama and on its steep stairs you will be able to breathe the soul of Lisbon.

Day 3:

Évora is museum-city, whose roots go back to Roman times, reached its golden age in the 15th century, when it became the residence of the Portuguese kings.

Day 4:

Portalegre  lies on one of the sides of Serra de São Mamede, a mountainous range with a variety of fauna and flora part of which has now been designated a natural park. Portalegre itself is of roman origin though it is filled with fine Renaissance and Baroque mansions. Afterwards we follow to the historical town of Marvão, which is best explored on foot. The small and tranquil medieval town of Marvão is completely enclosed by walls, with whitewashed houses blending into the granite of the mountains and is best explored on foot.
Pousada de Ourém is majestically situated on a hill just a few kilometres from Fátima.

Day 5:

In Fátima visit the Sanctuary of ‘Nossa Senhora de Fátima’. The basilica is built at the site of the Marian apparitions reported by three Portuguese children in 1917 and known as Our Lady of Fátima. The tombs of Blessed Francisco Marto, Blessed Jacinta Marto and Sister Lúcia, the three children, are in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. Scenes of the Marian apparitions are shown in stained glass.
Coimbra is the only city of Portugal where the university is connected so deeply with its people and marked it through history as a place knowledge, tragic romances and great kingdoms
The perfect place for a rest is the famous Quinta das Lágrimas, a hotel with soul and character that honours Portugal’s rich traditions of hospitality and gastronomy. It is one of the most romantic Boutique-Hotels in the country and an inseparable part of the legend and love story of the Portuguese King Pedro and his beloved Ines.

Day 6:

Get to know the Dão wine region in a centenary manor house of splendid gardens and beautiful landscapes at Paço das Cunhas de Santar! Follow to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Alto Douro Vinhateiro and be seduced by charming landscapes of old vines – reach Quinta do Vallado, a fabulous 5-star wine hotel that once belonged to the legendary Lady Ferreirinha.

Day 7:

Quinta do Pacheca is one of the best known properties of the Douro region, and it was one of the first ones that bottled wine under its own label. As a family company, which exists for many generations they still begin the crushing process with the traditional method of food treading.

Day 8:

Learn more about Oporto during your sightseeing-tour. We will enter Palácio da Bolsa, a convent reconstructed over the years that is now an astounding exemplar of the Portuguese architecture of the XIX century and a place where many artists contributed to its resplendence! Continue the sightseeing-tour to S. Bento Train station and learn interesting facts about the history of transportation by following the wonderful tile pictures. Then walk up to the Cathedral from where you have a wonderful view over the Ribeira Area. Cross the famous D. Luís Bridge in order to reach Vila Nova de Gaia on the other side of Douro River where you can find the cellars of the most renowned port wine brands.
